My Teaching Philosophy
I am committed to developing students who are well-rounded thinkers, who are confident in their own abilities, and who are not afraid to explore in their learning. I believe the best way to achieve this is through creating a learning environment which is comfortable, inviting, and safe for each student. I will encourage collaboration and offer flexibility in my classroom by incorporating flexible seating.
My classroom will be an environment in which students can feel free to share their ideas, try, fail, and try again, and be hands-on with their learning. I will strive to build strong relationships with each of my students, getting to know all of them personally so I am better able to differentiate my instruction to meet every student’s individual needs. With continuous guidance and love, I believe every child is capable of learning.
